Blue Gorilla, a sculpture by artist Don Kennell is a new sculpture in our Railyard Park. It's a pretty large sculpture and hopefully you can get an idea based on the trees and light poles. You certainly can't miss him as you drive by and it really stands out with the snow.

There seems to be room for all kinds of artistic experimentation and expression in Santa Fe.
Excellent Randy!
quite funky!
That's a pretty dramatic statue!
Very unexpected! What a surprise it would be to see a blue gorilla in
Santa Fe.
Oh wow! Amazing sculpture Randy.. is that a car door he's holding :)
Oh great take Randy. For sure you cannot miss it.
My first time to you blog.
I bet you couldn't miss him, even without the snow.
Covered with snow i find the statue fantastic! Perhaps even more than without...
Impressive work by the artist!
Do his eyes glow in the dark?
The gorilla is huge and I like it very much!
I think I'd turn blue in that cold snow also.
that is awesome!
Trying to scare the snow away??????
This is the most unexpected one to date!
(Re. your question on VDP: the urn is decorative).
He is very cool, Randy! And huge!
The snow looks like he is wearing a sling for a broken arm! Loving your photos.
That gorilla sculpture is huge judging by the size of the truck door he's holding onto!
That's cool! (no pun intended!)
This makes me smile, Randy!
Not exactly what I would expect to find in Santa Fe. Amazing!
Perfect title!
