Theme Day has come again to City Daily Photo and this month's theme is "Worker."
Yes I do agree that manual labor is hard but I think there is no harder working person than the musician playing for tips. This guy can usually be found at our Farmer's Market all season.

beau portrait, une vraie tete de musicien, super
A nice gig when the weather looks like it does here.
Working for tips is harder and harder.
He would have to love what he does, otherwise it could be a long, boring day with nowt but pennies to show for it come shut-up time.
Banjo and fiddle - would just love to hear him play :))
What a fixture!
Wish I could hear his banjo music.
AH, a worker who makes other people happy as they pass by. Good one, Randy!
An interesting job and he seems quite good at it!
All those talented "workers" at the Market add a festive air all year round!!
Good one. I admire street musicians.
There must be joy in playing but worry in how to survive on the tips.
a good one!
Very good theme day shot. I agree, that is really hard work and not very profitable, either. He must be pretty good, though.
I like to hear good banjo music. You have made a nice portrait of him.
Wonderful!
He looks like quite a character. I'd thought of using a shot of buskers for my theme, but chose something else.
He looks like a retired prospector.
I agree, Randy! These people work hard and they are really putting themselves out there for all to see and to comment on as if they couldn't hear them. I wouldn't want to do it.
I'll bet this guy loves his work!
Your shot is pretty amazing too!
He looks like a fun old guy, he can probably do some picking by the looks of him.
I wonder if he would tell you that if you love what you are doing, it isn't work.
Nice picture you took of this fellow, I'd love to hear him play!
Nice portrait!
You're so right Randy, to get and keep the public's attention can be hard work I'm sure.
