Canyon Road Paint Out XVII

A few of you know that I am fond of squirrels. I could not resist taking a shot of this artist sculpting this little squirrel with an acorn. The piece is actually going to be added to a much larger piece.
Happy Friday everyone!

If it was not for the color one could think it's a real one...

I waste so many shots trying to get pictures of squirrels: the always move at the wrong time and very quickly... but I keep trying!

The sculpture looks quite realistic.

I might call them devious rascals, but I quite like squirrels.

He must have stood out as he was surrounded by so many painters. I love squirrels too - even when they are raiding my garden.

Very cute. Not so sure the Santa Fe squirrels like it, though. I heard that one of them walked by just after you left and said, "That guy is just plain nuts!" :)

Oh I didn't realize there were sculptors at the paint out as well. This artist looks like he has a good eye for detail.
