Icey Don Gaspar

Don Gaspar street was a little hard to maneuver in a car or by foot the other day. Yesterday the roads were a little better downtown but the outer parts of town still had some slippery roads.

And not much of a sidewalk!

I don't think I would park there. I like the color on the right wall.

Looks like a very treacherous icy lane.

That makes me want to go sliding :)

That's a lot more than we have. Dusting only here, but it's coming.

Looking dangerous Randy.

Going to take a day or two of that New Mexico sunshine to get rid of that ice.

Oh my, that does look slick. Lately I've had trouble tripping on a perfectly dry sidewalk. I wouldn't want to attempt this street.

Looks good for sledding.

Oh no! I don't like roads like that!

This is the downside of the snow: it is so rare here that our streets would be like that for days...

Ouch. That's not an inviting street for a driver.

Hmmmmm, it does look a wee bit dangerous!

You would need cleats on your shoes to walk up there, Randy! We have no snow here yet.

Ugh. I love snow and winter, but it's the ice I can do without!

Sloping and slippery, not for this old lady. Still I enjoy looking at the snow and the ice and the colors of Santa Fe. Thank you, Randy. Thank you for your compliment about my low light photography. Mostly, it is luck, patience, holding my breath, and a bit of prayer.

Oh those icy roads must be so dangerous Randy.. Must admit I wouldn't like that too much.
