A Winter's Evening

Yesterday the day was filled with light snow showers until the evening began to fall. I love the ice that formed on my windshield and the view beyond it. It reminded me of this quote.

"Even in winter an isolated patch of snow has a special quality." - Andy Goldsworthy

Goldsworthy is always on a 'search' to find inspiration.

Winter has such nice blues. In the warm months the light is influenced by so much green all around but in winter the real blue can come out.

We are supposed to get some ice here today - I actually think it's kind of scenic during up close pics

A typical Canadian winter sound is the scraping of windshields in the morning. Some how I never thought that you would be scraping there, Randy!
