I was on my way to the Farmer's Market when I caught this shot. The gentleman arrived early to ensure a shaded spot before the parade started. I went on and did my shopping and then went back to capture a few more shots. Stay tuned. Happy Sunday by the way!

This sounds like it's going to be fun! Happy Sunday Randy!
I've just heard there was a Pride party yesterday night in Lisbon and I'm sure I missed a lot of photo opportunities.
Beautiful banner. I hope we'll get to see more shots from the parade! Happy Sunday to you, too. It's raining here, thanks to Tropical Storm Debby. No golf today! Darn!
I'll be back for more colorful shots!
As the song goes, 'I Love a Parade'
Pride week is coming to Toronto next week. I doubt I will go to any events though as it's really crowded. But I bet there are lots of photo ops. :)
Early bird get good spots !
Smart man...I can't wait to see more.
He is using well his flag to get some shade...
yay!
It sounds like a great spot away from the sun...
The Pride Parade in Toronto is very, VERY well attended. Hope yours turns out to be as good.
I love a parade!
Very nice Randy.
Parades usually are quite fun so look forward to you future posts, as always.
Looking forward to the rest of them, Randy!
If the flag is anything to go by Randy, we're in for some colourful shots!
I imagine it will be a cool parade, I love this picture, great shot!
Have a nice week ahead,

The parade here is next Sunday.
Parades, great photo opportunities!
I'm looking forward to see the shots of the parade!
Peace. ;-)
A smart gentleman!
This is the season for Pride parades.
That is a neat shot Randy. You caught it as well as the wind did : )
Looking forward to your other shots. Smart thinking to find that shady spot.
The flag is a perfect symbol for the movement.
Hi Randy, just catching up here since I have a moment of downtime, ha ha. This reminds me of a Thich Nhat Hanh quote: "there is no way to peace, peace is the way!" Looks like your summer is off to a good start w/ the concerts & all! I am in the process of working, and clay class and moving... so.. whew, I am beat! ( I am getting too old for all this activity I think- lol.) Hope all is well & hope you are enjoying your break from school. Soooo looking forward to the monsoons- it seems hotter than usual lately.
Didn't know you have a Pride parade in Santa Fe. I'm waiting for other shots.
Nice capture.
