The ACLU has been out in force here in Santa Fe and in Albuquerque. Unfortunately I didn't have time to find out what they were asking about because I was on the hunt for a birthday gift during my lunch hour. Still hunting by the way.
Here's to a successful hunt today, Randy! And I can't count the number of times I've been approached by young people with notebooks here--I can't get politically involved, period, because of where I work. And I can't say here where I work--sorry.
I hope you found the gift you wanted. Because what I teach is related with questionnaires, I use to answer, especially at phone because I want to see how it is constructed and how do they put the questions (how well are they instructed):)

i try not to make eye contact lol...good luck on the hunt...sometimes a gift card is the best/easiest route!
i got hit with a roto-survey twice this week about politics.
Lunch time is also busy time, when you need to do lots of things! ;)

i am so happy that we live in a country where this kind of solicitation is okay. One can chose to participate or not...I'm all for it!
