I love the rich colors of sunset. This is the Inn on the Alameda, a very popular place for travelers. It's a block away from Canyon Road and just a few short blocks to the Santa Fe plaza. I love the strands of red chile hanging on the sides of the building.
Have a great weekend everyone!

belle lumiere qui tombe sur la maison
All so beutiful, the light, the shadow, the building itself and the hanging chile.
Hi Randy, this picture to me is exactly how I imagine Santa Fe to be, chillies and all love it!
Love the shadows creating the diagonal through the image. Nice one, Randy.
Great colors, nice lines.
So they let the chile dry there? Or it is decorative? Either way, it's fabulous. Such clean lines leave room for lots of thought and feeling. Wonderful light, Randy. xo
I consider the sunsets in NM the best! The adobe, mountains and colors just pop as the sun goes down.
I have the real sensation of sunset and it's so good! Adorable shot!

Gorgeous!!! One of your all-time best!!! love the angles, the shadows, colors, light. all of it!
Beautiful light and I also love the whole composition of this building.
This shot is just perfect! This is what I think of when I think of Santa Fe.
It's magic time, when the world is awash in that golden light!
The contrast and warm colours are amazing. Love it.

I love lines, shapes and patterns of Santa Fe in your photos.
You are right. The colors are rich at this time of the day.
In addition to the light the different levels give it a special look.
Yep lovely building and lovely sunset!!!
Thanks

What a cool adobe inn! Must be a spendy place based on its location.
I bet it's really cozy inside....we'd only know if someone showed up a photo...... (hint, hint)
The sand color makes it beautiful in the evening ! ... and early mornings suns !
I love the shadows (and the chile ristras). New Mexico's sunsets are awesome.
It looks like a wonderful place - especially in that perfect light.
The light is golden. Just right.
