Winter Solstice Festival

Every year the Santa Fe Children's Museum has a Winter Solstice Festival that include storytelling, a drumming circle, snacks the best part a labyrinth made out of luminarias. It's a great community event that brings people out to celebrate the solstice.

This is great! We don't have anything like this and I think it would be something to try.
Great shot, by the way!

Luminarias are magical. We are the only ones in our neighborhood who have luminarias lighted during this season.

Very cool shot. Interesting back story as well. I think my this is my favorite time of year to check out city photo blogs. The different traditions are fascinating.
