I love the way our homes in Santa Fe look after a good snow. You know that there is a wonderful warmth inside after a day of being outside. Wishing you all something to keep you warm from the cold winter.
Architecture reminds me of Frank Lloyd Wrights Style. You have beautiful house; it would be great if you take 4 pictures of the same spot in 4 seasons and view the side by side ! that will be cool. Greetings and Happy New Year !
Thank you Randy! I like the terracotta colors of the houses! Very nice! Thank you for your kind words! Cool! :-)) From all the Good..I wish you the Best!..in 2011!
I agree with you, Randy, about the feeling of comfort. I think that the adobe and the coyote fences add to that impression, esp. the adobe architecture.
Nice composition showing off your city's typical architecture ... I'd probably not be outside taking photos of the snow, though, but inside in front of a fireplace with a hot drink of some kind!

Love this image and it's easy to imagine the inside of the houses with this cold. It's easier here, our winter is not so cold. For now....
beau contrasme des couleurs, c'est beau sous la neige

Love those berries on the left that make the scene complete somehow.
Ah...with a nice warm New Mexican blanket to bundle up in!
You are right! Looks really pretty.
There--you have gathered up the uniqueness of the place in one single shot! Beautiful.
Snow and adobes do create beautiful photos. Great shot.
Great winter shot! I never see homes like that around here....all steel siding in my area!!!
Have a wonderful last day in this year of 2010!!!
I had not thought of it before, Randy, but you are right. Snow and adobe do have a certain affinity. Stay warm! Best to you in 2011.
Our temps are approaching the 50 degree mark today, so no more snow for us.
I like your place. It's so Tuscany (apart from the snow)!
Its'a beautiful combination, the warm colours become much more beautiful with the snow.

This is a very inviting scene even if it is cold out.
Feliz Año Nuevo Randy, distruta de tu hogar calentito
I agree. Snow just changes the look of everything! Stay warm, more is on it's way.
The snow really adds to the adobe. It gives it such an interesting look!
Have a great New Year!
Snow and adobe, what a great combination!
Wish you a Happy New Year, Randy.
I bet the adobe holds the warmth and makes for a cozy haven at this time of year. Great image!
I still can't quite grasp the fact you have snow there. I always thought it was a hot place, Santa Fe.
WOW! I guess it snowed every where.
Happy new year!
Ah... it's lovely indeed.
Happy New year, dear.
Warm hugs.
That is a lovely scene, Randy. I hope you had a wonderful New Year!
