Holiday Sparkle

One of my favorite stores to window shop in for Christmas is ACC. They have wonderful Christmas displays and beautiful home furnishings. These Silver aluminum trees remind me of my grandmother and her old tree from the 60's. I hope your holidays are full of sparkle.

Icy and frosty - that's how those trees look. They'd do just fine here in Winter Wonderland! :)

The burning logs you saw on my blog are Swedish Burning Logs. EASY to make yourself and they burn for a couple hours. An idea for a Santa Fe BBQ? Have a great day, Randy!

I like window shopping with a camera, and this is a very good display.

I can remember as a child seeing the aluminum (silver) trees and wishing that we had one... wonder if there are any of those trees still hanging around with the rotating color-changing spotlight?

Thanks for that memory, Randy!

I remember the old silver trees too! (but not from the 60's) ;-)

Wait a minute! Old trees from the 60s? Good god, I am getting old. Our son was born in 1960! Yikes!

I don't remember these kinds of trees but that could be simply that my mind is going...

Merry Christmas, anyway!

Those trees make me think of the 60's too. I have some distinct memories of when these trees became so popular with the revolving lights that made them change colors. My family never had one, but I remember seeing them in the windows of homes.

You are correct on your comment on my site yesterday. That Santa was in the window of the Apple Store.

I love these silver trees and really love the vintage aluminum ones.

Good Monday morning to you Randy:-) That sounds like a store I could find a gift for my mother-in-law in. I like browsing stores like that. Nice festive picture!

I have pictures of one of those trees in my Grandparent's house. That is the great thing about pictues, they help you remember things that you might otherwise forget.

I would love to find one of those old aluminum trees from the 60's - probably worth a mint now.

Those trees were big in the 70s too..they matched the white vinyl upholstery and shiny chrome tables. Thanks for the fun photos and Merry Christmas Randy!

I'm looking at the goodies behind the tree!

The trees are cute but my eyes immediately found the two plates of goodies at the end of the seat!
