Each year for Christmas Eve people walk along Canyon Road singing carols and enjoying hot cider and bonfires. The street is also lined with Faralitos or luminarias. Some galleries and shops are open for people to stop in and get warm and enjoy their art. This is the window at Curiosa a lovely little shop filled with great gifts, jewelry and home decor items. Whatever you do today I hope that you day is filled with joy and the wonders of the holiday.

j'aime bien les pierrots lunaires
.Je te souhaite un joyeux noel
I love the green and red against the white shutters! I was just thinking yesterday about how it would be nice to live in Santa Fe! (yes, I have a vivid and sometimes unrealistic imagination!) But the atmosphere looks so relaxed where you live, and I could use a bit of zen. ;) Merry Christmas Eve, Randy!
A bit more chaotic here, but that's the mood of these days before the Holidays...
Pasé por aquí a echar un ratito con tus cosas. Quiero aprovecharte, una feliz navidad. Te deseo lo mejor, para ti y para los tuyos.
Un abrazo enorme.
Thank you Randy!
Merry Christmas!

This sounds like a wonderful tradition. Have a wonderful Christmas!
That sounds like a wonderful tradition. I would think all the shops would want to be open for the carolers...but I guess family comes first (rightly so!)...
Have a wonderful holiday!
And wishing that for you as well!
Merry Christmas!
(And what a wonderful way to spend Christmas eve!!)
What a lovely tradition. Merry Christmas Eve, Randy!

Very nice. Merry Christmas.
Hope that you are taking that lovely walk. Enjoy!
Looks lovely! Happy Holidays, Randy!
Canyon Road would be a wonderful place to be in the Christmas season, with the decor, the art, the good will.
Best to you and yours this Christmas.
I like the look of the wreaths and the windows. Just perfect for Christmas.
I missed the snow on Canyon Rd this year, but it was still a lovely walk! The woman that owns this shop was in a clay class w/ me a couple of years ago. Very cute shop! Merry Christmas Eve!
Peace, happiness and a Merry Christmas to you too Randy. MB
I am certain that I would enjoy going inside that shop. But even more lovely is the walk and the singing. Nobody does that in Norwich.
How are you enjoying this festive season?
Many thanks for your patience, and for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and leaving your comment. Come visit again tomorrow!
