Special Delivery.

In mid-October there was an event on Canyon Road to support music in our schools. Some of the galleries had school chorus performers and there were artists working on paintings all along Canyon Road. I will be bringing some of the photos from this fun filled day through out the week. I hope you will enjoy them.

Turquoise is my favorite colour, and the two colours in your photo are terrific together. Will wait impatiently for the promised pictures!

Great cause, Randy. With economic challenges, the arts progams in many schools have suffered...

Love the colors in your photo!

I LOVE the color here... again. Your part of the world is so filled with beautiful hues. It reminds me sometimes of France and their expertise in weilding color. It warms my heart.

Turquoise was such a popular color this year. Love this old mailbox.

It will be fun to see you upcoming photos! I love this one. The is something special about rural mailboxes that show a little wear and tear.

As a former teacher, I think this is wonderful. In many areas, funding for music and the arts is being cut dramatically. And the emphasis on testing has the same effect. A principal once told me that middle schools would be dropping all courses but math and reading...she was wrong, thank goodness, but still...

So, I'm all for promoting music and arts in the schools...these are just as important as the three "R's"!

Looking forward to your photos. The mailbox looks like a face to me. Maybe I'm just tired and punch drunk. Hope you had a great weekend.

Yes that's a very happy blue. Sky blue. A grumpy person couldn't possibly live there.
