Leaving an Impression.

Beauty can be found simply by opening our eyes and looking around. Even when that means looking down at the sidewalk as your walking past. This was a reminder for me to slow down and take it all in. Have a wonderful Sunday everyone!

You are so right Randy!..
We see..
But we need to LOOK! (around you)
Nice find! :)
Have a great Sunday!

That is lovely. Did someone etch that into the concrete? It reminds me of the sand pictures Steve finds in the nature preserves up in Iowa... so restful.

And you're right about just opening our eyes and finding the beauty that is already there. Sometimes I have forgotten to do that, sometimes I have chosen not to. But these reminders are so meaningful... we have just to look!

A beautiful shot! We have a "meditational" park nearby called Sholom Park...and it has a series of walkways which contain imprints of leaves like this one. I find them quite soothing for some reason.

Hope your Sunday is filled with peace and joy!

Randy this is a nice post. You are right that is all it takes sometimes, take the time and look a little bit longer. Thanks for your comment on the Bench image.

Randy, you're a smart, smart man. And this wonderful post just goes to show that, while a picture's supposed to be worth a 1000 words, 44 more finish off the picture perfectly!

Lovely! Makes me want to press leaves into any fresh concrete that I see. Nice capture.

Very cool shot and words to go with it...most of us can use that reminder now and then! So much good stuff around us to focus on instead of the negative stuff we get bombarded with.
