Yesterday I walked around the plaza watching people prepare for Indian Market and the next wave of tourists that have arrived for the weekends festivities. The day before you see everything even our skies are full of private jets carrying private collectors ready to shop. What I was not prepared for was the man in red standing at the edge of the plaza dressed all in red. I guess he didn't know Turquoise is the color of the weekend.

He is in blaze orange and should have gone the rest of the way and got a bozo wig. I do like the color but only wear it during hunting season. I use it when painting a lot, you can mix it with blues and get some interesting greens.
Good team:))
We expect the Indian market photos.
Have a great weekend.
Certainly is colorful. Noticed that he is standing in front of Ortegas, a wonderful store for turquoise, the color I truly love.
How wonderful!
Now that takes a lot of self confidence to pull off that look.
Ouch!
oh my word! what a character!
What? No tall red socks ending just below the knee? Now that tourism!
How did you keep from laughing, or did you? Strange and funny. Esp. the shoes! But interesting, too, and it's fun to see a variety of people and costumes! Have a great weekend.
A new superhero?
That is one unique fellow!
I think he really wanted to make a statement Randy, super fun shot.
The way he is standing, it looks like he is there to save the day! I envy the sights you will see this weekend. Bring some back to share with us.
LOL! Funny guy!
Ah but this red is a bit too light, otherwise you see lots of red and turquoise in Zuni jewellery, right?
I've been taking a blogging break, but still following...will be waiting for pics!!!
The colour combined with his posture sure attracts attention!
Oh yea! Another year of the Indian Market. Can't wait to see what you capture for us this year : )
You capture some of the strangest shots and this one ranks close to the top of the list!
He's wearing such a bright color that he must be very sure of himself. His shoes don't look comfortable to me, not at all.
I enlarged the photo and see that his face is very red, too. I wonder if that is just because of sun exposure or whether he has colored that red, too. An odd choice of clothing.
He should be with ... the lady in red
LOL! Got to be a tourist!
