Yesterday while walking to the Indian Market I came across these young Native American dancers dancing a Buffalo Dance in front of a gallery. They were so adorable that it made for a great start to the day. I didn't make it through the entire market yesterday partially due to a very large crowd. Oh well I guess I will have to make another trip today. Good thing I only live 5 minutes to the plaza.

Hula! :-)
Aloha
Only 5 minutes away means you could make several trips back and forth during the day! :)
Love this shot. Lots of energy and color.
Let me know if you use Photoshop...
I'm so jealous! Very cool shot.
So neat to have a festival like that.
That would have been a very enjoyable way to begin the day Randy, I had to fight the crowds today also :)
it is a great thing that their culture is surviving, i have made it to a pow wow here and thoroughly enjoyed the dances!
If I was that close, my house would be filled with art stuff.
These kids are starting young to display and show appreciation for their culture.
We would need a video of this: their costumes are so nice!
very sweet!
This is fantastic! I'd love to make it to this market one day.
You just live 5 minutes to the plaza?? Lucky you!!!
I wish I had seen those dances, and am so glad that young people are participating. I hope they keep their traditions and customs.
They are adorable -- lucky you to be so close to the action. :)
Lucky you to live just 5 minutes away! Love the scene, and that the use and knowledge of these costumes and dance haven't been lost.
I like meeting other cultures Randy :))
What a great way to start the day, for both the dancers and the people watching!
You are so lucky to live so close to so much great activity!
Nice to see these young people taking pride in their culture!
