This beautiful shawl is the work of TahNibaa Naat'aanii, a Navajo weaver from Shiprock New Mexico. To find out more about the artist and to see a gallery of her work, click here.
I'm very thankful to have the opportunity to click on your photos and enlarge them, Randy, all of them, but especially when they feature objects of great creativity. Thanks!

Unique and beautiful.
I enjoyed reading about how she became a weaver. It is neat how she left to join the navy and returned to weaving when she came home.
Looks like she got a "First Place". . .and well-deserved!
Wow Ms. Naat'aani is very talented indeed. What a beautiful shawl.

wow. true art.
Wow, beautiful work. I can see why it won a blue ribbon.
Too pretty to wear! :)
I thought it was a large piece until I noticed the ribbon alongside of it.
Now that is a piece of work! Nice. Have a great weekend Randy. : )
Some colleagues of mine would kill for a shawl like this... Brava TahNibaa!
