I don't think that any does business quite as good as the Roasted Corn folks.  Every year it never fails, you can walk by this stand and there is a line of people waiting to get some of the tasty golden stuff.

In Memory

This is me and my partner Todd.  Todd recently passed away unexpectedly on Aug 1st.
To say that I am devestated is putting it mildy. Tonight there will be a Celebration of Live event at the school where he taught. Needless to say I will not be around to visit your blogs but I will be back on Wednesday.

Talking about Veggie marketing. I shot this last week at our Farmer's Market. Today I am off to the market but not this one, today is our 93 annual Indian Market. This year there are two markets, one by my home and the other on the plaza. It's going to be a long shopping day.

I caught this guy at the Farmer's Market a few weekends back. The glass ball was heavier than it looks. He juggled this with such grace. If it were me it all you would hear is the crash of breaking glass.

You see them everywhere, newspaper boxes, even electrical boxes covered in stickers or graffiti. I found this little whatever it is close to home. Whatever it is it sure looks happy.

Caught In The Rain

The other day while spending time with my niece we stop for lunch and as we parked I caught sight of this vintage Falcon.  I have seen it around town and normally the red color is not so vivid. The bath must have been good for it.

The Last Supper

This is a Gesso Releif by artist Jose Armijo. I was not sure how gesso relief's were done until I Googled the process and now have a big appreciation for this piece.

Even in the heat of the afternoon the Spanish Market drew a pretty sizeable crowd.
I hope the sales were just as good.

Theme Day: Take Away Store

Theme Day is upon us again and this month's theme is Take Away Stores.  This mobile take away store can be found a most big events around the city.  Here you can buy some tasty and fresh made juices.  From Cantalope, Watermelon and my favorite Blueberry.  Not sure how much business they did on this rainy day at the Folk Art Market but the place sure look festive and inviting.
