These girls were so cute in their rainbow gear. You couldn't miss them as they walked along with the  parade. Happy Saturday.

Unusual rainbow.

At first sight I thought these were an unusual arm cover. I happened to see this young man later at a lemonade stand and it turned out to be a whole shirt. Interesting but I'm sure he was cooler than I was.

Ladybug in waiting.

The little girl was taken by the young woman with the ladybug umbrella. She struck up quite a lengthy conversation while waiting for the pride parade.

No Parking

There was no messing with the Pride crew before the parade. Even though the meters were covered people still tried to park there. As they tried they would have to deal with this woman. She took her job very seriously. Happy Monday.

Pride Santa Fe.

I was on my way to the Farmer's Market when I caught this shot. The gentleman arrived early to ensure a shaded spot before the parade started. I went on and did my shopping and then went back to capture a few more shots. Stay tuned. Happy Sunday by the way!

Sunset glow.

I love this tree on the St. Johns campus. As the concert was ending the sunset created a wonderful glow. It makes me look forward to next Wednesday's concert.

Soak it up.

Some of the concert attendees could not take the bright summer sun. I was a beautiful umbrella. I know it's a good idea to protect yourself but I choose to soak in the rays after a day of being indoors all day. Happy Friday everyone and I hope you get a little sunshine this weekend.

The Music on the Hill season at St. John's College has begun. It would be one of my favorite things to do in the middle of the week during the Summer. This shot was taken right before last nights concert.

Sticky Sign

A Love of Both.

I love the this SUV. It appears that the owner seems to love the U.S and Australia. I would love to travel oversees one day so that I can experience the love too.

Draw me picture.

This couple was taking turns drawing one another on the plaza last Friday. Not sure if it was a project, practice, or they were getting ready to offer their art services. Either way it was nice to see. Wishing you all a great start to your week.

This shopper was dressed to impress while out and about downtown. I happen to catch her as I was leaving a store on my way back to work. I love downtown in the summer months. There is always a wonderful assortment of people milling around.

Clouds along Washington Street

I shot this as I was heading back to work. The clouds moved in as if it were going to rain but they coasted on by without a drop.

Balloon Flowers

These kids were waiting but not patiently or quietly. They all wanted the balloon animals that this gentleman make in the plaza. You can usually find him there most days. Check out the flowers on the pole. Wishing you all a happy Friday and a great weekend.

Do you support?

The ACLU has been out in force here in Santa Fe and in Albuquerque. Unfortunately I didn't have time to find out what they were asking about because I was on the hunt for a birthday gift during my lunch hour. Still hunting by the way.

Protection

This young woman was protecting herself from the sun. It's not a bright color but I couldn't miss it as she walked by.

While I was out and about I came across a small store that deals in used boots. These don't look like they've been worn at all. Not sure that I would like the ones that look like a Bee but hey to each his/her own.

Red Balloon

This red balloon was hanging off the door to a little coffee shop next to the Pinkoyote. I think it could use a caffeine boost.

This was directly across the street from yesterdays post. I wish the flowers were a little more prominent.

I found this beautiful bench in front of the Pinkoyote. The Pinkoyote is a womens clothing store near downtown. Good place to sit if your not in the mood for shopping.

Here is something interesting that I found in the Railyard area. I think it was one of those wheatpaste decals that I have posted before. He looks pretty threatening with that automatic weapon. I hope this week isn't a threatening one. Have a good one everybody!

Where is ...
