Stop I'm Blushing.

Click on this one for a better look. I am not sure what kind of tree it is but I amazed by the red tone in the bark. I just thought it was blushing because I was taking it's photo. Happy Friday to you all, enjoy your weekend!

en effet , bizarre ce rouge, mais il va bien avec la neige (peut être l'utilisation d'un flash ? )

You must promise to go back in the spring and take another picture so we can figure out what kind of tree it is. She's probably blushing because she's naked!

Perfect shot!
Very pretty!

Wonderful, amazing red indeed! For me it is hard to believe you`ve got snow and winter, it was HOT there in July 2008 when we visited. Santa Fe is charming!

It's a beauty in that white environment!

We have some "coral bark maples" in our yard that provide a visual thrill in the winter with their smooth "red" trunks... great photo here.

Bon weekend,

A blushing tree...pretty unique, Randy. You've got a good eye for spotting it. You, too, have a good week-end.

I like the idea of it blushing. Great eye Randy. I also like the sky and clouds in the shot.

Could that be a Japanese cherry?
Are the barks flaky?

Wow, such snow in Santa Fe, in Enchanted Land! And I remember a hot day there...The red stem is making a great accent on the snow. I like it!

That is an amazing color. I agree it does look like it's blushing! You will have to look it up again in the spring.

Excellent composition here, Randy. We have some red-barky trees, too, but I don't know what they're called.

Hope you have a great weekend. And speaking of bark: Woof!

That title made me laugh. The red tree sure stands out against the white snow. I wonder what it will look like in the spring.

This is a fantastic shot. I'm not an expert, but is it some sort of birch? Anyway, this really is a spectacular winter scene.

Funny, they look like the same tree except for the color. Is Jack right? Is it really called a blushing tree? Perhaps it just wanted to be different. It really stands out, though... cool shot.

It makes a beautiful contrast to the snow :o)

Lovely redish bark to contrast with the snow.
