Animals Of Power.

I think this mosaic image of a lion or tiger is fitting artwork for the wall of an electrical substation.

A funny juxtaposition, I think that murals in places like this can be definitely seen as something positive.

I would have to agree with you on that. And please have a great weekend.

Nice mural. I love the vibrant colors against the beige landscape.

Ha! Good call on the "power" connection. I find it truly wonderful that a meticulous work of art - a mosaic - adorns this menial enclosure. Gotta love it.

I agree. What a wonderful way to decorate the bland walls of a power sub station.

That's actually quite well done...to my eye, anyway. How do murals usually hold up in your climate?

At first I thought this was painted, then I read what you wrote and had to enlarge the photo. It's a great mosaic!

I'm thinking of it as a guard! Very befitting indeed.

That brightens it up nicely! Beautiful work of art.

Hmm...an interesting place for it, for sure.

How great that this mural was crafted in this spot. If it is all mosaic it is an incredible feat of craftsmanship! I would like to see it up close but your photo shows the scale of the mosaic. Wonderful!

I'll bet it's a jaguar. It has spots, and jags have actually been found as far north as the Arizona deserts, so why not your area. I think it's a definite boost to the substation.

Nicely spotted. People are very artistic where you are! A lot of blues, too.

Many thanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and leaving your comment. Come visit again tomorrow!

Very nice! Sadly most people have no idea how much this sort of thing actually enhances their environment.

A little scarey too.
