This is the view at 11,000ft from the top of the ski basin. Not only was my breath taken away from that uphill climb but the by this view. Click on the photo for a better view. Have a great weekend everyone!
Oh beautiful. I can almost feel that fresh mountain air. I haven't skied for several years but I always enjoyed the clean mountain air when I rode the chair lifts.
It is truly a lovely scene. I admire your trekking ability and stamina! I fondly recall the drive up to the Ski Basin from Santa Fe; it's breathtaking in the winter and equally so at other seasons of the year. Thanks for the photos that bring back so many memories!!

What an amazing view and thanks to you, I didn't have to do the climbing! I love the patchwork of yellow over the mountains.

Here's the answer to your "car of the future... It's a "back to the future" moment - the car is a 1938 model.

bravo , un beau paysage (si haut si haut) et les superbes couleurs naissantes de l'automne
The view is worth the climb, particularly since you made it for us! The yellows and other fall colors are breathtaking (or perhaps due to the climb).
Bon Weekend,
Genie

I am sure that I am not saying anything new from the 20 other people who have commented on this shot, but it is breathtaking. TGIF.
The air is rarefied up there! Kudos to you for making the climb. And I'm sure this sight made was payment enough for your efforts!
