I remember the days when cops used to "walk the beat." Now it appears they Ride the Beat. The city of Santa Fe is testing out these for lack a better term "scooters." I saw them during the fiestas and was able to get a better picture of them during the Railyard opening. No more tired dogs!

Laurie from Glimpses of South Pasadena, had a photo on one of these from her city also. I haven't seen any in Phoenix.
Segueways have been banned in the city of Key West- too slow for the street the city commission voted, but too fast and cumbersome for the sidewalks. They had Segueway tours of a state park until a customer fell off an dbroke her leg riding on a dirt trail. Seems a shame to me.
