Last weekend was the opening of the Railyard Park here in Santa Fe. The kiss of the new Railrunner and the Santa Fe Railroad train turned out to be big event. The railrunner will make it possible to catch a commuter train from Santa Fe to Albuquerque starting in December.

Was this the inauguration? I thought it was going to be a bit later this year. If it was, there must have been great excitement! Perfect caption for the photo.
What a great idea. I have a friend living in Albuquerque. Maybe she can use the train for her period treks up to Santa Fe.
