Native Arts Weekend

Another of my favorite sculptures on Canyon Road. This weekend is the Native Treasures Indian Arts Festival which is a small version of Indian Market. There is also a Pow Wow at one of our nearby pueblos. While it all sounds exciting the weather may not cooperate for some activities, with that said I may opt for hike somewhere north of the city.

Such a wonderful expression on this face!
Have a nice hike if you opt for it.

Can you go to the Pow Wow and a hike? I can see why you like the sculpture - that face is full of determination.

Beautiful sculpture. Sorry you are still have unpredictable and wet weather.
Yesterday it never got out of the mid 80's. Very unusual for Memorial Day Weekend. (I'm not complaining :-)

The sculptor did a masterful job of the expression on both the Mother's and Child's faces!
Hope you have a great hike and get lots of good pictures!
