Canyon Road Paint Out III

This was one of my favorites. This small church that this artist is painting is located on a highway that leads south of Santa Fe. The little town that the church can be found is called Golden. It's consists of only a few homes and this church.

It looks very colourful! Am I hallucinating? Is that a statue holding the canvas up?

I went thru Golden earlier this year. I guess I missed the church. His work looks amazing.

I have been there before! It really does look like the stature is holding up the canvas.

That is going to be a very good painting when it is done.

The church in the painting looks familiar, Did you post a picture of it a couple of years ago or perhaps a similar looking building?

It's tempting to want to by every one of these paintings.
