Bode's

Bode's General Store in Abiquiu has been around since 1893. It's one of my favorite places to either grab some goodies before hiking in the area or to eat at there "kitchen." Today weather permitting, I am heading to Ghost Ranch for a hike. I just might have to stop here for a breakfast burrito.

I like the simple sign, and I am sure I would also like the rest of the store!

Have just been enjoying missed posts Randy, it looks like Spring abounds beautifully in Santa Fe :) and I see a new header shot while I was away, love it, fits perfectly with your warmer weather coming along. Happy Easter to yourself and family.

Please Randy, when I finally make it to Santa Fe, would you stop me from entering EVERY place like this?

You can let me read all about the Old Spanish Trail though. That's got to be interesting stuff.

Love this picture btw.

Good choice for a hike. Ms. Georgia would certainly agree.
Breakfast burritos is very popular around my house!

I love poking around stores like this. Is it still the original family operating the store all these years? Must be 5th generation by now if it is!
