Agave

I love Agave plants. I prefer to shoot them in Black and White because it makes the points and thorns really pop. Wishing you all a happy Friday!

Agave always makes a reliably interesting photography subject, especially in black and white. Great shot, Randy.

Yes B&W really works on things like that.

You are right about the B&W; I maxed the photo and the thorns really do pop and look pretty wicked! Have a good week-end.

Oh cool, is it a member of the cactus family?

And a happy Friday to you. Hope your weekend is filled with fun and lack of thorns. I'm not sure I've ever seen a b&w of this plant. Looks good!

You're right, Randy, it looks great in B & W!

You make your points well. B&W format is the way to go with the agave!

And pop they do! That's a very cool, prickly b&w! Happy Friday to you too!

P.S. and forgive me if I already said it in the original comment because I'm tired and can't even remember what I did 5 minutes ago :-) : thanks for your lovely comment today!

Excellent. This is not the kind of photo that I might have thought about converting to B+W, but it works very well.
