Canyon Road Paint Out V

Now this really can't be easy. This young man was fun to watch as he painted his self portrait.

Painting the human face is one of the hardest things that I paint but then I just don't practice enough. I can easily paint an animal but I just have a block on people faces to some extent. That guy has it figured out!

Not easy is right. But he's a very fine artist...that portrait is beautiful!

Talent abounds! Painting a portrait from a reflection of himself in a mirror has to be quite a feat!

INteresting how the painter paints himself using the mirror !!!

I imagine that would be the hardest portrait of all to do.

You did a great job of capturing this painter in action, got the painter from behind and in the mirror as well as his work on canvas!

Yes, it's more difficult than it would appear at first glance.
