Two Sisters, Two Trees

Well that's the English interpretation, Dos Hermanas, Dos Arboles is a sculpture by local NM artist Paula Castillo. It's right next to the entrance of the New Mexico History Museum.

Hmmm. I like the building; the sculpture not so much. But what do I know?

This is one of those pieces that makes me think "Well I could make that, and be famous".

The best thing about this 'sculpture' is the shadows on the building. Maybe that was the idea.

And, it's certainly creating some interesting shadows.

Hmmm, deux frères, deux arbres. I would never have guessed and ummmm it isn't really my kind of thing. The photo and shadows, however, are really great!
