Yesterday, as I arrived at work the City of Santa Fe crews were hard at work setting up the tents for Spanish Market. I took this shot mid-afternoon as the artists were starting to move in. As evening hit the rain arrived, my first thought, I hope the tents were strong enough to keep the artwork dry.

sure hope they do well!
Oh gosh, I do hope they were because I'm sure there will be some true works of art here.
I like flea markets :)))
Thanks Randy, for your memory to Galicia!
I wish you good weekend.
A hug.
Send your rain this way, it would be a relief!
Same thing happens in Prescott all the time. Sometimes the rain bring winds that can blow the tents down. Hope you find some good things to show us.
Sounds like a Fun-Filled weekend visiting the market!
It's a hard life for an artist doing outdoor shows, Randy!
I hope you're right. It would a shame if the rain spoiled things. Looks like a beautiful area for the market. I'm sure you'll have more photos of it in days to come, right?
I hope the rains didn't stick around too long.
Hope things go well!
Sometime we forget that events like this require a great deal of effort on the part of many who are not the artists. Wonderful team work!
Can't wait to see the Spanish market, and then the native-americans one.
I'm just courious!
