My favorite thing to purchase at Spanish Market can be found in the Children's Artist area. They are both Retablo's and painted with natural pigments. The first piece, St.Francis, was created by a 15 year old artist and the smaller Virgin De Guadalupe was created by a 10 year old artist. I actually spied the St. Francis at the preview event on Friday evening and made it a point to search it out first thing yesterday morning.

Were you able to buy it or had someone else nabbed it before you got there? Wonderful shots, Randy. I find it so very difficult to get good photos at these markets because of the crowd and lighting.
