Dancing the Evening Away Again

The evening that I shot Kate at the bandstand concert I also had the opportunity to captured Antara. You will remember her from Kate's post this past Sunday. I admire how she just danced the evening away on her own. She seemed so free and alive.

She looks elegant...

Did you see a glass in her hand before she started dancing so freely? :) She reminds me of a movie actress but I can't think of the name... You captured her energy and sparkle very well!

This lady brooks no nonsense either. When onlookers stood in anyone's way, she would ask them to move so no-one's view would be blocked. Part of the fun of the Danceband's performances is watching the dancers as well as listening to the music. What fun!

Made me think of Marta Becket, the ballerina at Death Valley Junction's Amargosa Opera House who gave performances right up into her 86th year.

She is following the good advice, 'dance like no one is watching'.

I hope she feels well...

She looks like she means business -- I hope to have half that spunk at her age. :)

It is so interesting to see that Kate and you were at the same places and took (sometimes) similar shots. This dancer must have drawn both of you to her.
