Dixon

This is part of the small little town of Dixon. You can see the old church to the right and a nice adobe wall in the foreground. The studio tour attracted a pretty big crowd and it was a miracle that I was able to capture this shot minus the crowd.

I had this funny image of the tour group hiding behind the wall waiting to pop up and give you a fright Randy!

How quaint. It seems a perfect place for an artist colony.

If I didn't know better, I'd say you took this shot down Mexico way! Nicely done!

Looks like a town I would like to live in -- quiet and organic. :)

I love seeing those rough adobe bricks like those in that wall. I can just imagine how crowded it must have been.

The architecture is so exotic to me - so unlike everything here!

It sounds quiet, of course without the crowd around...

Is it still an enclave for artists? Seems like it from your photos.
