Is it Ready?

I was at Sunflower Market the other day and I saw a line of people waiting their turn to get their chilies roasted. I caught this little guy patiently waiting and watching as the roaster was spinning. The smell was heavenly.

I can't imagine the taste! I can't imagine how you, guys, are eating those red/green chilli dishes! Way too hot for me.

Roasted chilis are so divine! I've been roasting mine under my broiler in the mornings to add to my scrambled eggs. Doesn't quite measure up to these tho. My preference is Matt Romero's at your market! I was tempted to take some home in my suitcase, but decided against it.
