CDP Theme Day: Open Air Market

It's the first of the month and theme day is all about shopping shopping and more shopping at open air markets. At the Santa Fe Farmers Market you can always find Matt Romero of Romero Farms fixing something delicious. It's chile time here in New Mexico and Matt is roasting up some delicious chile from his farm.

Take some to shop at some pretty wonderful markets around the world:

You just know these are all freshly picked veggies. Love the way they are displayed in those containers. Looks a super Farmers' Market. Love the shot.

Randy, the shades of green are lovely, but most of all I want some of those roasted peppers! I make a pepper jelly with three kinds of green peppers and often have trouble getting them. Now I know where there are plenty!

Great shot!

Ah, now ... me and chilli ... well .. we don't get along so well!!

However, what attracted me to your post is the lovely shades of green. This is a really good image that I responded to immediately. Glad you contributed it to the Theme Day.

Great capture, I'm only identify the first ones on the bottom, here in Mexico call it Chile Poblano and is an important part of the dish 'Chiles Rellenos', but that is another story. Greetings from MC.

Glorious, flavorful bounty. Great photo you've shared with us. Glad you stopped by to see the 1959 Chevrolet Biscayne. My grandparents had a 1960 Impala that I adored.
