Indian Market III: Silver Purse

This beautiful work of art is by Navajo artist Alex Sanchez. Click on the photo for a better look at the design work. This silver purse had many admirers the first day of Indian Market. One day I will own one of his pendents.

Really a fine and unusual work, I like this kind of technique but probably this is a quite expensive item...

Since I don't know anything about Indian art I can't "read" all the symbols on this silver purse, but I'm sure there are some!

SSShhhhh. My wife already has a lot of silver jewelry from the Southwest, including Santa Fe. I don't want her to find your blog.

You are so fortunate to live in such a beautiful part of our country with the magnificent Native Amercan artists so close at hand.
