Sadness

There was something sad about this sculpture. I did like the way the snow was melting down the forehead. Speaking melting the snow is going away. Still have plenty of pictures.

Sleigh?

No just an old cart. This cart sits outside one of the art galleries close to my home. Its a nice old cart but it looks nicer with snow on it.

Door

There was some enchanting about this door. Maybe it was just the snow falling but as I drove by I had to turn around to take this photo.

Somebody Turn on the Heat!

This is one of the little bird houses at our home. When I saw this all I could think of was some little bird wishing he had central heating.

Muddy Roads

After work the other day I drove around in the snow just to catch some shots. I love that we still have dirt roads here in Santa Fe. Not to sure how these residents felt having to drive in the mud.

Covered in White

This is my home after the evening snow. Shortly after I took this photo I left for work and it started snowing all over again. Needless to say I was pretty excited.

While We Were Sleeping.

This is what I woke up to yesterday in the morning. The snow fell off and on most of the day and we are expecting more today. Time to light the fire.

Tis the Season

Yes, its that time for holiday shopping. Stores keep opening earlier every year just to get you to come shopping. I shot this display downtown. If your going out on Black Friday, good luck.

Breaking Bread

Today people will be getting together to break bread with friends and family and giving thanks for all of the good things in life. I hope everyone has a happy Thanksgiving.

Make a Wish List

Camera & Darkroom is one of two camera stores in the downtown area. I resisted and didn't go in, I had to be strong. I was afraid of an impulse purchase.

While walking thru downtown I spotted this classy ride parked outside of a store. If you can't ride thru the flowers you can ride with them.

A Killer Burrito

After many good reviews of the food here we decided to give it a try. Talk about killer breakfast burritos. You won't be leaving Tia Sophias hungry.

Looking For Love?

Yesterday there was a five shelter adpotion event at one of the local Yoga studios. There were all kinds of dogs and cats there. One puppy even caught our eye and might be coming to live with us. We'll know in a few days.

I love the ad on this bus stop. One thing about the state of New Mexico, they are working hard to get people to live a Green lifestyle.

Cielo is a nice shop for bedroom and bath accessories in the Guadalupe shopping district of town.

Seeing Red

While riding by my eyes were drawn by the red leaves on this tree. Looking at the photo prior to posting it, it appears that the mailbox is looking up at the tree as if it taken by the color of it as well.

Balance

While walking down the road I noticed these balancing rocks close to this adobe wall. Wouldn't it be nice if work and life balance could be as easy as making rocks balance.

Going Which Way?

Not these two. I saw these two trucks on the highway when leaving Dixon and heading back to Santa Fe. Would have loved to have brought one home for a project truck.

A Restful Kind Of Day
