Outside of a ceramic artist house I walked on this golden carpet of leaves. This artist lives in the middle of an orchard.Don't you just love the colors of Autumn.
Our front yard looked like that one year but not this year as the leaves are still on the tree for some strange reason, like they decided not to fall while other trees have changed color and fallen. Very strange.

I've been out to photograph that very thing today; a lovely time of year wherever you happen to be.
Our area has had a ground full of leaves while others cling stubbornly to the branches. It's been an unusual autumn concerning trees and leaves.
Fall this year is beautiful!!
