Model Patience

Out of all the artist who participated in the Canyon Road Paint Out this is the only one who had a live model. They were across the street from yesterday's artist at the Greenberg Fine Art gallery. This guy was a true sport. It was a little warm being out in the sun.

A very beautiful job she's doing, too! You ought to have been the one getting painted, Randy.

A beautiful picture. The model has to be very patient, but the result is going great. Congratulations.

I've modelled for some of my artist friends and it does indeed take a great deal of patience and discipline to remain still. What a fun event this must have been!

These artists absolutely amaze me...to have the skill to do that out in the open with people watching blows my mind. And it looks like in this case she really knows what she's doing!

Hi Randy, just catching up on the posts that I've missed over the last few days. Love your series on the Canyon Road Paint Out, the 'Elephant Dance' sculpture (not that I'm quoting your haha!) is excellent fun! Thanks heaps for your good wishes, very much appreciated. Hope you enjoy your weekend.

I have to think that being a model is hard work. Also, you don't get to eat much pizza!

It's so wonderful that you live in such an artistic place. What a pleasure it must be to be able to walk the streets and see art being created all around you. More cities need that. I hope that it catches on in all cities everywhere. And soon!

I think the artist would lose his patience with me as I would really not able to stay put... :)
God bless you!
