Not All Were Gay or Happy?

I missed the Pride parade on Saturday, but I sure caught the heated tail end. There was a small group of four shouting some pretty bad stuff for being God loving people. Good thing the police were around. I hope you all have a good start to your week.

Fire update: The fire is still burning but that's not the worst of it. We now have a new fire to the west of us. This one is on the Jemez mountains and is burning really fast. The plume of smoke was so large that it covered the sky to the north so quickly that both plumes just became one. I would give anything for some rain.

les integristes catholiques font peur, surtout aux USA ou ils arrivent d'etre assez violent.
J'espere que le feu va diminuer

It does seem contradictory when people get aggressive in the name of God. I so dislike this kind of thing I hardly know what to say. Wouldn't it be more productive and God-honoring to, say, help your neighbor? Bring a meal to someone sick? Assist a struggling kid with his homework?

Groups of people with one believe seem to trigger others opinions.

I saw a photo of the Jemez fire, looks bad. This looks like it should have been a dry summer, no fires or fireworks allowed.

I really hope some rain will come!

Oh no. I hope you do get some rain. Isn't it always the case that a handful of wrong headed people cause grief for everyone else. Yikes.

Many people do outlandish things in the name of the Lord... strange.

It always surprises me how supposedly religiously motivated people can be so hateful! Stay safe from the fires.

Live and let live is my motto.

I'm sorry about the fires, I hope you get some rain soon.

What is sad to me is that some of the "God loving" people can be the most cruel & wicked to others. It is that mindset that is frightening.
There is ash on my front porch from the fires. I understand they closed the lab... it is more than a little frightening to think of nuclear/hazardous material that close to a fire. It's got me feeling pretty anxious to say the least.

Ugh, I so dislike it when people feel the need to aggressively get into other people's business.
Yes, we need rain too! If it doesn't happen soon, the fires here and there (NM) might meet in the middle!

No me gustan las movilizaciones de este tipo... La religión para las iglesias, las sinagogas y las mezquitas...

Saludos y un abrazo.

Sometimes I think how primitive are people nowadays, they do not respect the choices of others, but they want to impose theirs.
Hope the rain comes soon. ;-)

It is very discouraging how mean people can be to each other. I wish we could put all that energy into something useful instead of tearing others down.
I hope no one gets hurt in the fires.

Regarding the fires, I hope you get some rain soon and in the meantime, stay safe.

Regarding the other thing, I'm just dumbfounded...

Bonne journee to ALL!

Don't get me started on those 'Jesus people'!
Sorry about the continuing fire. We had lots of fires last weekend as temperatures reached 40ºC in someplaces, but I think all are controlled as I haven't heard anything on the news today.

I agree with Ciel, Live and let live, but you'll always get a few that put their views in their, if they did it in a better way wouldn't be so bad. I am so sorry about the fires Randy, it's just so tragic, please keep us up to date as to how things are there with you.

Some pretty ugly sentiment expressed on those signs. Makes me wonder about the holders' private lives.

This morning I read about the fire close to Las Alamos. Pretty scary.

Oh no! I hope the fire goes down quickly!

I've seen a few documentaries about extreme minority groups such as this one in the US. They get a disproportionate amount of media coverage, given how few they number in reality. A real shame...
