Solitude

This is one place where you would not expect to find solitude. I was out in Galisteo for their Studio Tour and while it was crowded with people there were no children in the playground. Just a photographer and his camera watching the clouds go by.

Playgrounds around here will be mostly vacant til March. They are a sad lot these days.

Well, it's there if the kids need it, right?

I'd be interested in the place where you took a tour...what was that all about?

Nice perspective on this shot. It almost looks like this playground is out in the middle of nowhere!

I wouldn't mind to sit on the playground and watch the clouds and its figures too!
Have a beautiful Saturday Randy!

A very DIFFERENT look compared to the 10 inches of snow out my window! Send me some sand, would you?

By the way, CDP blogger Kate and I mentioned you in our coffee, treats and blog time yesterday. See us on my EAGAN blog today!

Hey Randy:

I'm counting on you to show us some luminarias. New Mexico does them BEST!!!!

That sky is so pretty. Solitude is one of my favorite things, always nice to find it in unexpected places too. Like when you find a really cool beach and no one is around.

It looks warm and comfortable - a place to sit and recharge. Nice shot!

That's kind of sad, Randy. A few months ago I went to a big playground to make some photographs, and it also was empty. I took the pictures but couldn't bring myself to put any of them on my blog.

I was on that tour too! It was a wonderful weekend - great artists and pleasant weather to walk the dusty roads of this ancient New Mexico village. I snapped a few images for my microstock portfolio, but did not see this one. Kudos!

I really like this shot. It's a great perspective (almost looks like a child's perspective). Wonderful sky too.
