The Future

This is Bernardo Jaramillo III, one of the young artist exhibiting at the Spanish Market this weekend. He is holding the Retablo of San Pasqual patron saint of cooks that I bought from him. We like to purchase art work from the young artist every year.

"A Retablo is a term for a Latin American devotional painting, especially a small popular or folk art one using iconography derived from traditional Catholic church art."

I could use the 'patron saint of cooks'. The oven shudders when I walk in the room. hahaha
