Not Only Art

At Indian Market, it's not only about the art and the food you can find Native American music and a whole tent dedicated to books about Native Americans. This guy was making sure people knew where to find them.

That sign kind of screams Books!

It's hard to find physical books these days so I suppose this feller is making sure people know they still exist :)

Doesn't look like the worst job!

That is a terrific tent to visit, I'd bet. Finding Native American authored books here is not easy, but there are a few stores that carry some Plains Indians authors. Have a good week, Randy!

Now this is the type of sign I would like to see someone holding while standing on street corner, rather than a piece of cardboard asking for $$$ handouts.

I am not sure about what is he selling...

Perhaps the sign could be behind him and he could be reading a book? That might have cheered him up a little. :)

I'm addicted to books. The sign would have convinced me to turn.

What in heaven's name is that thing on the seat under him? :-)

How long did he have to hold that thing? If it were me, I would quickly have found some way to get the sign hung.

I like Native American authors too, like Louise Erdrich.
