I caught these two talking with a fellow guitar player as I was exciting Starbucks not too long ago. Looking at the beat up guitar case on the right the lyric "While my guitar gently weeps," came to mind.
Wow, what a poignant photo! Chasing a dream, do you think? Years ago, I traveled a lot with my job and would often find extremely talented musicians/singers in little bars or cafes all over the country. I think success in the music business is partly luck - being in the right place at the right time. So many thousands have incredible talent!
my favourite shot of yours so far Randy. cool grunge-y guys. check. the moment when they are deciding what to do next. check. looking like a scene from northern exposure. check. I love how you captured that moment whereas I would have hesitated and missed the shot.

Hope that you are having a good and restful week-end, Randy!
That case has been around!
Ah, a great use for duct tape!
wow! you're right - 'traveling' is a good word for them.

A fine Harrison song.
Young troubadours no doubt. You've captured a nice little moment in time.
wow, that is one well used guitar case.
Perfect words for this image Randy, I like the casual relaxed position of the guy resting there :)
Love these candid shots on the street..and agree about the Harrison song. maybe my favorite Beatles song ever.
They look to be the perfect age to be traveling!
Another time, another music...
Now I have that song in my head! :-)
That case certainly has the miles on it, I wonder what the guitar looks like? : )
It might be beat up but it looks well loved.
Great street scene...duck tape fixes everything.
Looks like that guitar case has some wonderful stories to tell.
