"Snake Dance Totem with Moon and Stars"

This sculpture by artist Doug Coffin was inspired by the Snake Dances of the Hopi Indians. It's at one of the entrances of La Posada of Santa Fe and one of my favorites in town.

Snake dance ... hmm, I dance when I see a snake, usually the other direction. Nice entrance.

That's a fantastic sculpture. Do you know when it was made/installed?

I stayed at La Posada once. Loved my room and had wonderful customer service. Had a lovely dinner at their restaurant.

Orange window frames seem something new, compared with the traditional blue.
