As you can see, we have quite a few publications that can be found here near the cathedral park and all over town. Do you have these in your city or has someone created a more visually appealing alternative? Have a happy Friday!
That is a lot of papers.I don't recall seeing that many in one spot here. We used to have a store in downtown that sold papers and magazines and people would gather there in the mornings and visit. All gone now.
I'm sure you also have this variety because you have a lot of tourists who like to get national news or something other than just local. In small towns you don't see these.
These may be a doomed species in time what with the Internet being so popular for your news source. Freebie want-ads paper probably will always last though.
Unfortunately too many cities have these ugly metal monsters on the streets. Can't offer an alternative except just removing and placing the newspapers in strategic places indoors.

Hugs and happy Friday!

Ah, we've got these all over town! They are rather an eyesore, but then again, they do provide information for people who need it.
Street photography at its best! We too have much of same , maybe not so many in one place but lots spread out.
Have a great weekend.. : )
I guess these boxes will be going the way of phone booths with the rise of internet journalism.
that's actually a pretty colorful line-up! yup, we have them here, too.
Of course you know we have these around town too. Wouldn't it be fun to see one of those old fashioned news stands like you see in New York?

I once took a similar pic in Chicago. Love it.

We have the same thing here. There is always talk of somehow incorporating them all into a more dense multi-level box but nothing ever happens.
There were so many of them in front of the main Post office in Chandler. Over here none of the kind but we do have a lot of these magazines around.
I LOVE THIS. I love reading newspapers so this photo is awesome to me :)
Happy Friday Randy!!
No we haven't anything like this, everything would be stolen and taken away in minutes...
We've never had them. We still have newsagents booths with people... Hope your Friday is going well!
Great catch. We might have one or two together, but not that many.
Not charming. There should be a limit to how many newspaper boxes can be stationed at a location.
Nope. Ours usually get tagged, banged up, broken down, and look like crap.
I like seeing these and hope they never disappear
I've not seen this before Randy, would be handy if you wanted to buy the paper to read in the park oui!
We don't have these here, but you can find many kiosks, some just for drinks, others selling newpapers and cigarettes.
A colorful image I've noticed in US. No, we don't have this here.
