Spanish Market 1

The first stop for me is always the Children's Market section. Unfortunately the young artist we were there to see could not make it to the market this year. I happened to find another treasure though. Meet Sydney, she is holding the piece that we purchased. It's retablo of San Ysidro, patron saint of farmers. I just might have to go back today to pick up another piece.

I am so glad for this young artist: so encouraging!

It's great to support the young artists. This would make a lovely top to a table. It's the kind of tile I was thinking of when I redid my outdoor side tables.

Oh, I am SO jealous. For two previous years I was in Sante Fe, but not this year. Glad that you made the purchase!

What an innocent depiction of San Ysidro. Wonderful! When I first saw this pic I thought of Johnny Appleseed!
