A Lucky Few.

This weekend for 3 days only we were lucky enough to see John Lennon's artwork. Santa Fe is one of the last stops for this show in the U.S. This was a benefit for our local charitable organization, The Food Depot. It was great to see people my age who were moved by the artwork. Some of the younger set didn't get it and you could see it on their faces. Enjoy your Sunday everyone.

Lennon was a fascinating character and I've often thought that even if one didn't always agree with him you had to give him credit for his willingness to let it all hang out, say what he felt needed to be said, or draw what he felt needed to be drawn.

I'd love to see this show! Don't suppose you got any photos from the inside?

"Imagine" how cool that would be!

I am glad that you were one of the Lucky One's! How appropiate that the La Fonda had the honors to showcase the event!

I hope you will show us more - but I bet you weren't allowed to photograph. Did you sneak some anyway. I have to admit, I didn't know he was an artist.

As for the youngsters, they need to do some research on John Lennon. He was a pioneer in outward thought. How lucky you were to see his art. xo

All of the Beatles were multi-talented. And when they began, we thought they were just some flash in the pan musicians from Liverpool.

So much the younger generations are missing. But I guess the same was true for our generation.
