Blowing In The Wind

Sunday was pretty windy here in our lovely Santa Fe. The daffodils were standing strong but the tree that casted the shadow didn't fair so well as you can tell by the blur.

So different against the adobe wall. I love the warm color against the cold colors of spring!

Our winds were extremely strong yesterday also. We even lost power for two hours in late afternoon, probably from branches down over wires. Glad to see you finally have daffs and they held up through all the turmoil!

I really like that color! Tell me...where do I find some? You can even give me the winds if you'd like:)
They're beautiful.

The first thing I noticed pulling in to home after a month on the road was the mound of daffodils my wife planted last year. A brilliant hill of yellow. It got my attention and the deer leave them alone.

Lovely photo, Randy. We visited your city a number of years ago: love the simplicity of line in much of the architecture and of course seeing some of the original works of Georgia o Keeffe

The blurry shadow is a nice contrast to the beautiful flowers.

I like daffodils, one of the few flowers I manage to have growing in my garden, they just pop up each year without me having to do a thing!Perfect.

No daffodils here yet but we do have the wind! Nice shot of springtime.

It WAS windy... that was the day I was up on the mountain, and boy was it blowing in the afternoon. We turned around before we made our destination.
Your daffodils speak spring-time!
Congrats on your "A!" Woohoo!

This stand of daffodils look like they were painted.

The colour yellow makes such a strong visual image. Good to see spring flowers somewhere in the US!!
